Only just come across this post, so maybe..the ship has sailed!!! But, I was helping out and then employed at Nore House Residential Nursery in Portishead from 1965-1975.
Lots of memories, lots of pictures, happy to help/ chat.

Hi lovely to hear from a 'comrade ' from Nore House, as you have read I was there in the 60 's when Matron Hoskins was in charge ,I have a few photos but would love to see more. I live in Somerset and have lost touch will the girls I worked with and am wondering if we were there at the same time!!!!! I was surprised to be told the old house has gone and replaced by houses,but the coach house is still there, did you live in the coach house? My name was Edwina Walter
