Can you give me a link on that city of London arrival?  I think that sounds like the right family.

While checking other listings on Ancestry.com I found a entry in London for a Robert Bacchus and the word Punt where it might have been an occupation.  The only reference I found to that word as a job was embezzler.  Do you know another meaning?

Is that list of names in Clinton for Iowa?  I did find a Sarah Hick living with a James Hicks in Iowa at one point but I haven't been able to locate it again.  Sigh, I now put all that I think is interesting in my shoebox but at that time I thought this was easy!  ;-)

That would mean that Sarah should be on the 1871 English Census but might have already left Cornwall.  Do you have a departure port of the ship?
