Umm.... can "Hugh" be mistaken for "Connell" ?

Hi Great Grandaughter of John McBride. Aileen (Twisted Branches) has not been on Rootschat since early November last year. Hopefully she still has the same email address and will get your posting. I have also sent her a Personal message via RChat to ask her for a response.

Hopefully Aileen (her Name) will respond. I am sure she will be happy to get the information from your Dad.

Hi Aileen,

Sorry but I can't reply to your personal message, I have no idea why, it just doesn't give me an option. Thanks so much for getting back to us so soon. Dad (Bernard Connell McBride) is very excited about finding out about his family as he has done a bit of looking around, but not through any online web sites, just by visiting the BDM and the church at Raymond Terrace. Dad has some information about John Connell McBride and his family, I've looked a the tribal pages website and the family tree and Dad said there are quite a number more children born to Maria and John C...including my grandfather who is not listed (John McBride). I think Dad said there were 11 children altogether.
I will get all the information off dad and post it soon so Patti can have it. Dad is Patti's 2nd cousin by our accounts.

Hi Cheryl, So glad my message got through to you, wasn't sure if it did. I will tell Patti about your posting, looking forward to finding out a bit more about the McBride family. The information on the tribalpages that I do have was a bit of guess work as there are a couple of John & Maria or Mary McBride and Maria Piper's name has sometimes been put in as Mary so I'm not sure how many children are theirs .
Please don't worry if I take a while to answer just takes me a bit longer to get around to doing things lately......Cheers for now Aileen.
