Hooray for a cold wet day.

I took the dog out then straight here.  Worked on Rootschat from 11.00 am to 1.40 pm.  Had lunch while watching neighbours and doctors.  Took the dog out again and straight back to my computer.  Resisted looking at Rootschat, that hurt.

I've managed to find my Agnes Williams in 1891 and 1901.  She was under William.  I've written up my Gowers and Laws and my O'Farrells.  Couldn't face the Smiths as well and my legs ache so I'll have to go for a walk round the house.  Actually I'll just feed the dog, then back here until after The Archers.  Just time to cook myself some dinner before 'stenders.

What a wonderful day.

Must clean up tomorrow as No1 granddaughter comoing to stay.

With me it's good intentions. Tomorrow I will dust, polish. hoover before I allow myself to turn the computer on....but we all know what happens to tomorrow!!!!
My mother was very housepround -the dust just didn't even bother visiting her - it knew it didn't stand a chance!!  One of the things she said not long before she died was that 'given her time over again, she wouldn't waste nearly so much of it doing housework' ...so hang on to that thought when you're sitting at your computer!
How long do I spend....well....there are those elusive family members to trace- how can you loose someone with a name like Whiffin Montague-....tree to update.....website to work on....and then there's Rootschat.
