I usually get home from work, take off my coat, and just check my emails, then... some kind of force takes over and I find myself on Rootschat, but it's very difficult to concentrate when everyone insists on discussing what to eat!
When I do stop for dinner, I panic that one of my son's might finish first and beat me to the computer - I seem to eat a lot quicker these days.  Once back online, I'm there till bed time.  I daren't add up the hours.

I hate to think how much this thing has taken over my life.

The computer goes on when I get home from work and then I'm there till my fella picks me up about 8.30pm. On the two nights I don't see him I'm there till after midnight. While I'm sitting there the thought is usually 'I'll go and do so and so in a minute' and it still doesn't get done

Housework gets done about once a month ( if I can drag myself away from the computer) luckily I spend a lot of time at his place where he doesn't have the internet otherwise I think I would have to be surgically removed from the computer!

Even dragged him off to Ledbury last weekend because we were in the area and thats where my GGranddad was born

Luckily I live with four cats so the only one I have to feed is myself (the cats get fed regularly) but thank goodness sandwiches were invented - my cooker hasn't been turned on in about 12 months!!

Just think how much time we'd be spending doing this if the only means of research was the archive office!
