Also, looking at the list of children, there are quite a few gaps - did they have some kids who died young?

I believe in 1861 they can be found in Lambeth, the surname is a mess! "Huhere"/"Hichen" are how it is on various transcriptions

I think that is a very good fit, given the marriage date. I agree transcription is muddled - have clipped it, and it looks like it there was a difficulty writing down the name.

Most likely Huhn, Hühn, Hohn or Höhn
