Does anyone visit Flintshire record office ?
« on: Monday 14 November 11 07:15 GMT (UK) »
I must admit I'm asking for a favour , pure and simple. My mother told me that the MP Henry Morris-Jones was distantly related to my mother. A glance at various information about him tells me that his papers at Hawarden contain research about his ancestors.
I don't live anywhere near Hawarden , and I'm highly unlikely to visit the area soon - though I'd like to . I'd therefore be very grateful if anyone who spends time there would be so kind as to have a glance through his papers to see if there is any actual information there .

Hi Huwcyn.

The contact number for the Flintshire Records Office is 01244-538344, the e mail address for the website which list the catalogues held is www.flintshire.gov.uk/achieves.

The staff are very helpful.

We do visit the records office on a regular basis and plan to visit in the next couple of weeks. PM me with what you would require.

Regards Garrod
