Can anyone give me any info on 2nd lieutenant Wilfred Francis James Lait who was KIa 3 august 1917. Attached to the 8th Border battalion. (Canadian)

Can you be more specific as to the exact type of info you are looking for?  Are you looking for his ancestry or his service records?

If his ancestry-as he is shown as born in the UK - have you checked freebmd to find where and when he was born?

Using that info - have you checked the censuses for his parentage
