[ George Bailey WHITE married Jane LINCOLN on 22 Oct 1808 at Stepney St Dunstan and All Saints. One of the witnesses appears to be EP White, and the other M White. GBW appears to have died 1843.

 I wonder if that is a typing error? as from your information George Bailey White was born in 1818 and the first one had died.

GBW married Jane 1808. They had a son GBW 1812, who died 1814. A following son born 1818 was given the same names, which was common practice sometimes, if the first one died. GBW the father died in 1843.

Thomas and Mary had these children that I can see - from the names in the newspaper article and probates.

Sarah - married Thomas EDKINS
Charlotte - married Charles WARD

What if the link is actually through Edward Peake WHITE's wife Elizabeth, whose maiden name was also WHITE, and not him.

William and Elizabeth, the couple baptising kids at St Mary at Lambeth had an Elizabeth in 1777, and another one in 1782, baptised 25 Dec.

They also had an Ann baptised 28 Mar 1784, Charlotte baptised 25 Dec 1785, and Sarah baptised 2 Nov 1788. What if these three are the Ann WELLS, Charlotte WARD and Sarah EDKINS, and therefore all sisters of your Abraham. This makes more sense, with all the WHITE, WELLS and WARD cousins named in the newspaper article.

I hadn't looked at it being Edwards wife, you could very well be right. (With all those stars beside your name I believe you)
re William and Elizabeths kids baptised at St Mary I had that thought after I posted my last message, and I think once again you have hit the nail on the head.

Any clues as to surname of Mary, (wife of Thomas White)

For all the WHITE folks in the newspaper article to be FIRST cousins of Eliza Peake WHITE, her mother Elizabeth would have to be Abraham's sister.

I would say that Thomas and Mary are no relation to Abraham, at this stage anyway.

Added burials, plus Thomas could be Abraham's uncle, but would not be a brother.

Aha you are right again.

Edward Peake White b. 1778 father would have been born around 1750ish
Elizabeth White b. 1777 father William would have been born around the same time

That means Thomas and William may have been siblings
