Picked up some excellent books from the Flea market today in Auckland New Zealand.

Did so, because they may be of great use to anyone who has interest in research there.

Monumental Inscription - The Old Churchyard, Holy Trinity Church, Lirk Patrick - as of 1981

The recording of the Monumental Inscriptions in this churchyard. has been a combined effort by some of the members os the Isle of Man Family History Society

Iris Lyle, Project Co-ordinator, Isle of Man Family History Society.

Lists people who are buried there, some from 1840.



Another book was

the Kitk Patrick book is just one of series covering all IoM yards - the burial regs are available on CD Rom and the MI books should be soon

the woods atlas tables are online (+ I think on Mormon fiche) but not that useful without the maps (see www.manxnotebook.com
)
the Yesterday''s mann book indicates the poor quality of architecture in Douglas
the other pamphlets are typical of those issued for each Tynwald day - the original owner probably visited then - 1979 was chosen (for no especial reason other than QE II was free that year to attend Tynwald) as the Millenium year
