Can anyone tell me who her 1st spouse was.Hannah was b.abt 1822 Perry Green,Bradwell Essex according to 1881c & she was a laundress.

By 1881 she is a widow, but I can't see a death for Thomas between 1871 and 1881.

Hi,
Families are funny things, Thomas didn't die until 1905 in Maldon aged 83. This poses a real problem for all the details/advice given. 1891 census ref has Thomas with Hannah S Powl ref rg12 1396 6 6 and 1901 has Thomas by himself rg13 1689 8 7. Been a long day and will need to re visit tomorrow.

1891 census ref rg12 3077 19 32 has joseph and hannah senior. Hannah born c1822 Perry Green Blackwater Essex. 1901 census ref rg13 373 108 8 has her back in Newington London as a widow. Looks as though her death is 1907 Southwark aged 86.
