Elizabeth Rogers b. abt.1815 in Coreley

I am looking for birth & possibly marriage of an Elizabeth Rogers b. abt.1815 in Coreley, Shropshire.  Can find no marriage (but presume she married) Henry TOOMER somewhere.  Their first child Jemima was b 1839 in Wedmore, Som., but died over in Newport, Mon, where their next children were born.  Looking at the fiche records, there were an awful lot of Elizabeth Rogers getting married in Wales, but couldn't find any marrying a Toomer.

Hi and welcome to Rootschat Nowecious

You might be better off with information if you start a new thread for your Elizabeth as if you look at the posts before Killys = Keith basically has
finished his posting on here.

Saying that I have had a look for you and as you say I cannot
find a Elizabeth Rogers marrying a Henry Toomer.
Are you sure she is a Rogers.  I say that because I have seen
lots of Henry Toomers in the Somerset are and have also seen
the 1841 census in Wales,  which has Henry a Elizabeth and Jemima.
I cannot find them marrying unless they were Catholic as they
have not transcribed all of their records. Or they didnt get
married but lived together as man and wife??
On my site it states that Jemima was born in the Parish of
Axbridge? When looking there I saw quite alot of children born
around the time of 1839 and a few years after with Toomer as a surname.
