St Peter Oldham records
« on: Friday 16 December 11 12:30 GMT (UK) »
Hi

The Baptism records for St Peter Oldham only go up to 1837 on the Lancashire Online Parish clerk. Does anyone know where the later records are kept and if it is possible to view them?

Heather

They are certainly held at the local history offices/centre.
Not online though.

Will LancashireBMD provide enough information? Oldham has 'good' coverage.
All census look up transcriptions are Crown Copyright http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/

Thank you.

Depending on how much snow we get in the next few days, I might pop round!

they may be on the newer version of FamilySearch - I found an 1849 marriage on there - just as Oldham, but matches with St Peter's on LancashireBMD (the marriage isn't on the old IGI):
