Hi Francoso
I'm afraid the 17th century records are rather fragmented - not bad for burials but very little for marriages and baptisms. Here is what I have found:
1664
Mary the daughter of Thomas Death buried June 28th
Thomas Death Senr buried October 28th (Simon & Judes day)
1673
Elizabeth or Margaret the wife of Robert Death buried November 25th
Nothing for Stubbs but we have Dorothy wife of Daniel Stebbin buried on November 7th 1679.
Nothing for Dodds
Going much further back, we have a number of 14th century manorial rolls. Richard Deth features prominently in these between 1353-1356. There were many tenancies left empty after the Black Death, which hit the village in 1349 and a large influx of new population in the few years after that. As there is no sign of a Deth in the rolls before 1350, I suspect this is when the family moved to the parish.
There is also a Death's Field recorded on the 1842 tithe map, near Workhouse Green. Many of our field names date back to the medieval period, so this may well reflect Richard Deth's holding.
There is also a William Stub recorded in a rental document of 1374-5.
Hope this helps
Jonathan
