Oddly thissite has few children for the couple ( was there a raymond?) and has Ella born Ontario as did that one...

You'll have to set them straight...
Isaac Cecil Funnell can be found on here, and a few births for Ella  ( one transcribed as mother surname Connell) http://vitalstats.gov.mb.ca/Query.php
and Ernest Wm never married https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FL5T-RH4

William J. Bennett married Ellen R. Funnell 06/11/1901 Brandon...and they are also on the 1911 behind the Donaldsons...  :)  William James and Ruth Ellen/Ellen Ruth also have births for Isaac Clark and Muriel Mary in Brandon on the site I gave you above
and more births marriages and deaths for them & a few more siblings can be found here ( mother as Ruth Ellen Fennell)

Thank you again for this input. It has answered a lot of questions and given me more to write about. Not sure how Ella came to be born in Canada when the family were living in England and as for Raymond? I have no idea. That needs some thought.

I would just ask the poster where this information originated, as she states born in England, immigrated 1893 on census...so looks as though this is likely someone's false memory, or the children were mixed up with another family's information....

Hi,

I follwed Isaac's progress from the birth of his grandparents and he was born in Lewes, Sussex, England.  I used the various census and Isaac and Eliza definitely had 5 children born in Lewes. When I originally posted the question, I inadvertantly left out Albert although I di have him in my information. None of my information was gathered from other people's family trees as they are not always correct as you, JJ, had noticed in the one you pointed out.

I believe the children have been mixed up somewhere along the line by somebody.

Hello,

Isaac, Eliza and Ernest William are in Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver.  There are some other Funnells there, and I expect that some of the other people from this family who died in BC may be there too.  You can check for them here..

Hi JJ,

Having just moved onto researching Isaac's brother Clement, I have discovered Raymond Harrison Funnell! He is the son of Clement Funnell and his second wife, not the son of Isaac and Eliza. Wonder how the tree owner will take the news.
