Hi, Does anyone have any info on  the date of birth & parents of William Stanton born in 1841 in Cork. According to the 1861 census  he was in the Royal Navy in 1861 aged 20.  Regards Jaro

there is a downloadable document on the national archives site of a william stanton of Cork  b 1839,,,enlisted 1859....it will be his short service record,,,would cost you £3.50 to download it.
