1891 census look up please

I wonder if somebody could do a 1891 census look up for me ? I am trying to find a marriage for my GGrandfather James  Bartram to Emily Back in the 1880's. On their eldest daughters birth cert. (Jan 1887) it states mother Emily Bartram formerley Back. However I can find no marriage at all.  I have however found a marriage for a James Thompson / Emily Back Sept Q, 1887,Shoreditch and am wondering if for some reason he had changed his name . Could someone please do a look up on the 1891 census for a James Thompson with a wife Emily and any children.  I do know that my James Bartram was living with his wife Emily and children in Battersea at that time and therefore I could eliminate this other one.

I couldn't find a James Thompson with wife Emily on 1891 census.

I couldn't find a marriage between a James Bartram and Emily Back either although I did find 2 marriages for a Emily Back in 1880 and the one you found in 1887.

The birth cert you have for the first born child was she also an Emily in 1887?

Yes - 1891 & 1901 censuses show her as their eldest child

Did you find James Bartram born 1851 Shoreditch on 1881 census, if so who was he with and where?

Yes, their eldest daughter Emily was born in 1887, Islington

Their first 2 children Emily & Henry were christened on the same date - 10.4.1889 at St Mark Tollington Park Islington

James occupation is shown as a confectioner and in 1891 he is a sugar boiler and in 1901 a confectioner & sweet maker

1901 - James b 1851 Hackney and Emily b 1862 Hackney

I haven't found a James Bartram born 1851 Shoreditch. I don't have access to Ancestry/Find my past. Have you found one then ?

Many thanks for the 2 eldest childrens christening information - I didn't have that. Yes, that's the correct family with James giving different birth dates/ places. Through this I don't have his birth certificate, 1st marriage certificate to Emily (he remarried when she died and I have that cert !) or even his death certificate !  I am stuck on this family and my mother would really love to know.

On the 1881 census I have found a James Bartram born 1857 Shoreditch living with his wife Elizabeth at 29 Harman Street.  I wonder if this is the same James who later was with Emily.
