1891 census look up please

On the marriage certificate  that you do have what is James's fathers name please?

Yes, I've also come across that James with Elizabeth on the 1881 census but I'm sure without looking through my paperwork that I found him with her in 1891 as well = not mine ! On his 2nd marriage his father is down as James !   lol

On the 1881 census I have found a James Bartram born 1857 Shoreditch living with his wife Elizabeth at 29 Harman Street.  I wonder if this is the same James who later was with Emily.  

I have already ruled that family out - they are on the 1891 census

I was hoping you were going to say his fathers name was John, if so I had found the family in 1871, shame, I'll keep looking.

Sorry I couldn't find any other census (61,71,81) for James with a father James.

Thanks people. You can see what a brick wall I've hit. I may just order the cert. for James Thompson/Emily Back in the hope that it shows the same address as daughter Emily was born in in 1887. Can only hope !

Perhaps his father's name wasn't James ?  Could he have made all names up ?  Where was this family living/names in 1871  please?

On the second marriage cert - does James show himself as a widower?

Who did he marry and when as Emily only died 1929 by which time James was around 70

James Bartram married Jane Nunn 3rd Feb 1932 Battersea Registry Office. He was 75 and she was 39 !! He was down as a Widower and she a Spinster. He was a House decorator(journeyman) and she a Housemaid. His father was James Bartram (deceased),Jobbing House decorator.
They were both living at 94 Ingrave Street,Battersea

75 makes him being born 1857
