I have now found the baptism record for Albert  Charles King for 18 June 1848 and he is indeed the son of Charles King  [Bricklayer]and Martha so it looks like you are right with Martha as the Housekeeper.  Sorry I doubted.

Which still beggers the question of why she would take Albert with her and leave Alexander b 1850 behind.

I can't find the baptism for Alexander King 1850 or a record for the birth of Alexander Spurr 1850. So I think you're right that they may be one and the same person and Alexander was actually Alice's son all along ?

Interestingly I can't find a baptism record for Angeleano King b c 1837 either but there is a record for Anne Jane Selina King daughter of Charles and Martha for Dec 1836. I'm thinking they are one and the same and one [or other] is a mis-transcription. The question is which? My guess is the Anne Jane as Angeleano pops up in other bits of the family.

Hi again that is the best course of action, can anyone find what happens to what looks like Angelina's mother, Alice Bullard b c 1832 Gainsborough post 1871?

I can't find her or Joseph or indeed Emma in the 1881 census or beyond.  Nor can I find death records that I could be sure of.
One thing about living in Hull, is it's a great temptation to catch a ship out of there. I wonder if they emigrated?

Hi all I know this is some yars ago but has anyone found out anymore information. I am a descendant on Alexander King in Australia. As far as we can work out, he was the illegitimate son of Alice. Presuming Isaac Spurr as Father.
