There seems to be some history of the House of Corrections here:  http://www.bhddh.ri.gov/about/The_State_Institutions_at_Howard.pdf

Looks like the Rhode Island Historical Society has some records from there:  http://www.rihs.org/mssinv/Mss231sg1.htm

Google Books mentions a book entitled "House of correction and state workhouse to be known as the State Reformatory for Women: 1869-1924", but the only library that seems to have it is the Harvard Law Library.

Passenger list for SS Zeeland from Queenstown to Boston, arriving 26 May 1910
Fee, Patrick, age 37, male, single, gas worker, able to read & write, Irish, last permanent residence - Ballinamore, Ireland, nearest relative in country from whence he came - wife Mrs. Fee, Kelly Hugh, Ballinamore, final destination - Providence, R.I., no ticket to final destination, passage paid by sister-in-law, in possession of $10, previously in Providence from 1903-1908, going to join (uncle or cousin? hard to read) Terence Moran, 125 Blackstone St., Providence, 5'8" tall, fair hair & complexion, blue eyes, born Ballinamore.

The 1940 Providence city directory says that Mary A. Fee died 9 Nov. 1939.  Eileen Fee was a clerk for American Standard Watch Case Co. and resided at 363 New York av.

Eileen is at that same address up to the 1946 Providence city directory, and appears to be listed in the 1952 & 1953 Providence directories as chief payroll clerk for Bulova and residing at 365 New york av.  In the 1956-1958 Providence directories, she was chief payroll clerk for Bulova & residing at Oaklawn.

Many thanks Shellyesq for all your help,

I have now found marriage for Patrick Fee to Margaret Moran in Philadelphia 1898. I found them in 1910, and in 1920 Census they had 7 children. John 1901, Edward 1903, Lawrence 1905, William 1907, Margaret, 1909, Catherine 1911 and Francis 1913. In 1930 Census John and Catherine have left the house. Catherine has become a Nun in Villa Maria Convent West Chester. I don't know where John went and cannot find anymore information at the moment. I suspect some of the boys will have went to war. Where should I search next to find out if any descendants of this family are still alive?

Margaret married to Robert Alexander McGonigle

Born March 26, 1904 in Philadelphia, Pa
and died June 13, 1955 in Philadelphia City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

It seems the couple had 3 daughters. Anc tree has photograph of Robert.
