Mam remembers Nora and Hilda and agrees t was them who visited and had a child with a disability albino?
Anyway Mary Mullen was born circa 1880 thorney or sherburn hill, dad john Mullen Born Wigan mam Jane  Lowther born maryport, I have loads of info, johns ame was McMullen when e was in Wigan, dad was Irish,, Janes family were from Whitehaven, Workington and probs Ireland, would love help.

Re john Mullen. His mam and dad were William Mullen and Ann Horrocks, siblings Henry elizabeth and Sarah, all kids born Wigan but named McMullen.mid 1850s they came to Quarrington Hill Co Durham where Ann died after a difficult childbirth, the baby died too. William remarried, she died then he married Catherine Lowther nee roney.they both had kids and the kids married each other, our John married Jane, henry married mary ann and sarah married thomas. George Lowther was The dad and catherines husband.
Ive got more info and loads of certs going way back if you want it, If you could tell me Marys address on her wedding cert id be over moon.

Hi, Mary Mullen was living at 3 Salisbury Terrace, Devenport, when she married William Lonsdale on 11th April 1904. Mary was 25. Can try to photocopy the marriage cert and send to you, if you like? You could send your address to our e-mail. *   I am Hilda's granson. Many thanks
