Hi, Madlin is a tiny area in Leighlinbridge joining Ballynolan.Both are in the parish of Leighlinbridge and are served by St.Lazarians Catholic Church Leighlinbridge Carlow.Hope this helps

Yes, it does!  I found the place name on the birth record of one of my Kensilla ancestors.  Their siblings were born in Ballynolan and Leighlinbridge.  At first I thought these people moved around like gypsies, but it makes more sense that whoever transcribed the record in the church register may have just arbitrarily assigned the place names because they are all cheek-by-jowl.
