Tooth - Kent lookup please

Found a marriage on Free BMD for William Tooth and Annie Parks June 1898 Sevenoaks 2a 1352.
I have looked on www.theweald.org to see if I could find Albert birth to confirm his parents are the ones listed above but have not found his birth in the parish of Westernham or Sevenoaks. You may need to search a wider field. not all births and marriages are listed but the site is very good.

I had found Alberts Birth on Ancestry.
Name:    Albert Charles Tooth
Date of Registration:    Jul-Aug-Sep 1904
Registration district:    Sevenoaks
Inferred County:    Kent
Volume:    2a  Page:    823

William and Annie Tooth can be located in the 1901 census ref 748/165/12

William's place of birth is listed as Limpsfield Surrey in 1878
Annie was born in 1873 in Wadhurst Sussex
They have two children listed with them
William Robert born 1899 Edenbridge Kent and Daisy Ellen who is 6 months old Born Westerham Kent.
You should be able to trace this family back through the census years but if you need more information let me know.

Thanks for the heads up.
There was another Albert (George) Tooth born in Sevenoaks the same year, so there should be at least 2 families. Not sure if this is defo the right one but i will continue to research.

Hi Mark
Sorry for no reply yesterday I was out for the day.
I get my info from Anc as you do and also GR plus
alot of the free sites.
I have a little time today so will have a look and see
if I can go back on the census on GR and find the parents
etc.  It looks as though we might have found them already but
will recheck for you. I will also see if I can find any Maltbys
around the  Tonbridge area.

Hi I think there are two families but they are brothers.
Found the following

1891 census

Robert Tooth,  head born 1853 Coachman born in Oxted, Surrey
Betsy                wife          1844                              Hadleigh, Essex
William                               1878                             Limpsfield, Surrey
Charles                              1880                              "                  "
Frederick                            1883                              Westerton,
Albert                                  1885                                "
Ethel                                    1890                                "

William Robert with wife Annie  had a Albert 1904/05
Also Frederick has an Albert as well with wife Amy about 1905 

As you can see they also had a brother called Albert lol. No wonder
we can get confused.
 

Will keep on checking but two brothers having similar named children
can be the reason its hard to pinpoint the Albert you are looking
for. Also the middle name would help great but its not on the census.

Thanks to both you guys for the input.
By using the summary records on ancestry I managed to find one one the 2 Alberts listed on other searches and the info ties in with the William and Annie that you guys have mentioned.
As you have ancestry subscription if you browse under Kent/ Westerham/ ED18/183 you should be able to find him.
The only thing is I cant find the other.
Im out tonight, so i will try and check again at the weekend but these leads are very promising.

So Albert Tooth's father is William Robert Born.1878 and Grandfather is Robert Born 1853.
William having 2 brothers Albert and Charles, It has to be the correct family.
Excellant. I'll check Fredricks family too to see if he had the other Albert i was looking for.
If he is thats a definate. :-)

These are the two Albert's in question as to which is which without looking at the parish registers or ordering birth certificates its hard to tell as neither is listed with a middle name or initial.
Without giving information away that is contained on the 1911 census. They were born in different districts within the Sevenoaks registration area.
Do you know if either of them served in the Army as sometimes parents are listed on these documents? I know it a long shot but if you don't want to order certs it might be the only way to confirm the right Albert to the right set of parents.
