Think 'barnscourt' is Baronscourt.

It would help if you could post links to the 1901 and 1911 Irish census records you've already found as it's not clear where and when they lived in the places you've mentioned.

Have a look at Introduction to Irish Records and My Ancestor came from Ireland - where do I start?.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hi Cathal

The births for the 3 boys would be held by the GRO in Dublin as they are all post registration (started in 1864)
However there is a pay per view site which is worth a look

http://ifhf.rootsireland.ie

You won't get the actual certificates - just a transcript.

Using your dates, I got these from the above site

1. Civil Birth    Monaghan    Thomas James    born 1887    Co. Tyrone
2. Civil Birth    Monaghan    John James    born 1888    Co. Tyrone

Nothing for Francis. They may not be the right ones but to view is 4 Euros each.

On the LDS site

https://familysearch.org

I found the following

1. Name:    Thomas Monaghan Jul - Sep 1887 Castlederg Registration District Volume 2 Page 17

2. Couple of possibles for John but don't know the georgaphy well enough to know which one.

3. Francis Monaghan Jan - Mar 1891 Castlederg Registration District Volume 2 Page 20

I don't know if these are the ones but the data above would allow you to order certificates.

Hope this helps

Hi Cathal

Also to note Irish death certs don't have parents names and marrige certs only have fathers name. Are more like certs for England and Wales in terms of info held and not as comprehensive as those in Scotland where all 3 (BM&D) have both parents names where known.
