Richard Mitchell

Hello

I have from probate in Manchester that Richard Mitchell died 1 Aug 1868 Isle of Man at the Adelphi Hotel. I cannot find him on the BMD site so would his death have been registered here? If so, where would I find that? It may be quite possible that his wife Elizabeth died here also in 1889 but they are both buried in Sale, Cheshire.

have you applied for a death cert from Registry (see www.gov.im) tho it costs money no burial however see index www.iomfhs.im
