Baptism in Little Gaddesdon 1823
« on: Thursday 19 January 12 13:15 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I am trying to find the baptism of Charles Stanners in Little Gaddesdon. He appears in all the Census recods as being born in Little Gaddesdon @1823/4, but there is no firm information on the baptism.

Many thanks

David :D

His baptism is on the new familysearch but the surname has been mistranscribed as Stannens:

Charles Stannens bp.5/10/1823, son of John and Martha.

Also a sister Susan bp.5/10/1823 who, according to census was bc.1820.

There are a number of other siblings correctly baptised as Stanners but another mistranscription is a John Stanner bp.5/9/1830.

Charles is with his family in Little Gaddesden in 1841 but family have been mistranscribed as Stonner -  ref. HO107 - 441 - 3 - 6 - 6.
