my grt grt grandfather was Henry Winter b.1845 a Shoemaker from Norfolk. his parents were
Samuel Winter  b.1822. wed to Susannah Nelson b.1809 a widow. Samuel's siblings are..

James b.1829
wed Maria.
Simon b.1827
wed Ann.
George b.1842
wed Mary Ann.
Elizabeth b.1820
wed Thomas Nelson.

these were all children of
Samuel Winter
b.1794.

Martha Burrows
b.1794

all lived at Walsham if anyone has any further info on who Samuel born 1794 or who his family was would be great. love to hear from anyone conected to my tree

I have found th marriage of Samuel Winter to Susannah Nelson 10.06.1842 at St.Swithens in Norwich He was a shoemaker her a baker. doesn't give her fathers name but witness where Robert and Elizabeth Sayer.

Hi Diddy and Alwina. i do have that info, i am stuck at who Samuel's family could be?
i think that the younger Samuel b.1822  his wife Susannah b.1809 and Samuel's sister Elisabeth's spouse Thomas Nelson were siblings.

i have found a Thomas Winter b.1791 married to a Sarah Wiseman b.1991, living in the same area
i wondered if he could be a brother of Samuel b.1794.

If it helps the familys occupation always seems to be Shoemaker's' a common occupation around that area at the time.

Thomas Winter married Sarah Wiseman in 1810 in Burlingham, so far I am unable to find Samuel or Thomas's birth. I found Elizabeth D.OB. 03.01.1820 Baptised 09.01.1820 at St.George Colegate in Norwich. Not sure about this Samuel. D.O.B 02.15.1822 baptised 05.05.1822 St.James with Pockthorpe. same parents but occupation now a weaver(though this was the other major employer in and around Norwich outsid agriculture) His nam is given as Samuel Symonds Winter. Would this be correct?
I have also found a Samuel Winter baptised 23.10.1796. parents Samuel Winter and Martha Barnes
