Thomas Wainwright's Barnstaple Parish Register of Baptisms, Marriages, and Burials: 1538-1812 (1903), shows the marriage, in 1735, of George Knill, of Pilton, and Susanna Edwards, and any information regarding their family, and George's parents and ancestral line would be most helpful.
