Seeking descendants

Hi, I am trying to find descendants (if any) of Samuel and Mary (a.k.a. Polly) Davies who emigrated c1908 to Vancouver.  Samuel was born 1874 in Llangollen, Wales, UK.   Mary's maiden name was Clark and she was born in 1875 in Wrexham Wales (UK).   Samuel and Mary had a son, Samuel Edward Davies born 1909 in Vancouver.
In 1911 Mary returned to Wales on a visit and gave birth to a daughter, Gladys.  She left Gladys behind with her in-laws, Edward and Elizabeth Davies when she and young Samuel returned to Canada. 
Samuel (snr) returned once for a short visit but by then Gladys did not know him and did not want to go with him to Canada.  After that visit the family lost touch with Mary and Samuel.
That is the sum total of my information regarding the family.
If any of the above ties in with something in your family I would love to hear from you.

There is a tree on A*****y for Samuel Davies is that yours?

If not there is a date of death for Samuel of 1917. Did not find one for that year but found one for 1918

Went onto the following Vital Event Indexes-BC Archives

and found a  death for a Samuel Davies which seems to fit

Found nothing for his wife Mary.

Found a marriage for Samuel Edward Davies

No death  information for Samuel E or Pauline.

I can request copies of the death reg and the marriage reg from the library in BC  the cost is $3.50 Canadian each.

 They will email them to me and I can forward them on to you.

The transcription at the LDS site for the death registration Lilybell referenced indicates Samuel was born 14 Oct 1873 in Wales and his father's name was Edward. The names of his mother and wife were not listed.

Hi Lilybell - Thanks for your really prompt research into my request!  The tree you refer to could be mine - but there are at least 3 other members of the extended Davies family also researching the family.  What you have found would probably explain why Mary (aka Polly) lost touch with the family, because presumably she remarried and moved away - possibly to Ottawa.  Thanks for the offer to get copies of the relevant certificates, but I don't think I'll bother at this stage.

The Samuel Davies who died in 1918 is buried at Mountain View Cemetery in Vancouver. Perhaps they may have more information in their files or would be able to add a gravestone.
