Thank you very much Sonia for your prompt reply. The bit of information you supplied on the Pellow family in Cornwall does help. I’ll keep trying with freereg and Family Search. Thinking of re-joining UK census and /or find my past, Ancestry UK. Edwina

Susan Pellow that married William Venner  was baptised 3rd May 1818 at Lezant and died 4th May 1891 at Lezant. Her parents were Richard Pellow and Jane.

I had a quick look around.

1841 Richard/Jane are under Ellen on Anc.
Both not born in Cornwall

1861 Jane is a widow born c 1782 Lamerton, Devon (Pelbow on Anc)

Haven't found her 1851.

Burials on FreeREG for Richard 1845 age 60/Jane 1870 age 88
