That sounds brilliant, cheshiremog, but a bit too far for me. I have traced my father's paternal mother to your area but having great difficulty filling in details. Any suggestions for marriage records for  Horace John Knowles and Jane Stevenson? They were Martha Ann's parents and I believe her mother died in 1874. Can't find Jane's parents or much further back from HJK either.  Perhaps a trip to Derbs is needed....
