Why not consider a transcription of the marriage certificate as the information is given by Louisa not one of her stepchildren.  Louisa would have been c48 years old when she married in 1883.

thanks, thats also and option of course.

I did not think that searching for her would have been so hard.

As with all of this sometimes supposed straight forward one turns out to be one that takes numerous twists and turns before one gets the answer
