Ellen Emma Poole / Joseph - Londonthorpe

Hi,
I would really appreciate if anyone can help me make sense of the below;

Ellen Emma Poole -Born 1869 in Londonthorpe Lincolnshire.


Married in 1892 aged 23 to Robinson Gill.
Found 1901 Census living with Robinson and Kids in Swineshead
Found 1911 census Living with new husband Charles Warsop & kids in swineshead also with May Poole aged 14 (niece)

I cannot find her 1891 census when she would have been 21/22, but I have found the 1881 census in Spittlegate Lincolnshire;

Joseph Bailey 27 - Father (born spittlegate)
Elizabeth Bailey 33 - Mother
Emma Poole - 12
Christopher Bailey - 6 - Brother
Joseph Poole - 27 - Lodger (born londonthorpe)

This is where I got the information from that her fathers name was Joseph and was born 1854. But that is all I can find out. I don't know about the information above about the Bailey's being her parents - if this was the case why would they have written her name down as Poole?

In 1891 I've found a Joseph Poole who was 36 living in London thorpe - but again Im confused by who he is living with;

Jane Poole - 70- mother
Joseph Poole - 36
Ruth Poole - 23 - Son Wife Ambiguous
Ernest Charity 1/12 - Son Valy

Can anybody shed some light on any of this?

Hi again, in 1871 Emma Pool aged 2 is shown as a lodger with Robert and Mary Brackenbury & Family at High Street, Londonthorpe.

And Elizabeth Pool aged 22 is an unmarried Domestic Servant for William and Eliza Fillingham at Bridge End Road, Spittlegate.

Keyboard has beaten me to it on most of the details. 

Yes, I would agree that Ellen Emma is the illegitimate daughter of Elizabeth, and so Joseph Bailey is actually Ellen's stepfather. (There is a possibility that he could be her actual father but as he and Elizabeth didn't marry until Ellen was about 5 I would doubt it.)
The PRs for Londonthorpe/and or Ellen's birth certificate may throw a little more light on the situation.

In the 1891 census, Ernest Charity was presumably born before Joseph Poole and Ruth Charity could marry, which they did in March quarter 1891, Stamford registration district.
