Hi there was a Francisco Street in 1901/1911 to it's left and right in 1901 was Hamilton Street in the Parish of Collyhurst St James, St George's District, cannot locate it now though!

http://www.artus-familyhistory.com/Manchester%201930/Main%20Map.html

Select square 1C and then when it opens scroll down to square 4B on the map.  Its just to the right of the B in 4B.

Hi Dalmation,
I did see that this post and the replies shown are from more than 10 years back but had shared the same interest and desire to find more about Francisco Street in Collyhurst. I have a wedding certificate for my great grandparents, living at numbers 12 and 53 respectively. Until recently I had found nothing except your post on the topic and couldn't find and clear evidence it existed.
This weekend, after investing a good few more hours hunting on the internet I finally struck gold. I found a link to a Manchester University research activity that had restored and digitised a suite of Sanitary study maps of Manchester from 1874. These are in excellent clarity and show both Ancoats and Collyhurst in great detail. I located a map within the series with Francisco street clearly marked, sitting between Elizabeth Ann street and Hamilton street, just off Collyhurst street and Rochdate Road. I will try to attach a copy of a link or a capture of the appropriate mapif anyone is still interested.
All the best....     Karl
