Electoral rolls to 1980 are available on ancestry.com.au   NSW rolls are various years between 1930 and 1980.

Can I help you at all for anything to 1980?  Jean may be able to help you with later rolls.

Cheers

Not that I can see.

The NAA should be able to help you with naturalization information.

Perhaps these enrolments are of interest.

The marriage is on NSW bdm
http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/cgi-bin/Index/IndexingOrder.cgi/search?SessionID=31818922&event=marriages

I hope Jean finds some helpful information for you.

The Parkes cemetery records are online but there is a problem with the site at the moment.  Parks Council have a note on their website that it should be available again.

Bedtime for me :)

Hi kerszk, I should think that Parkes Shire Council would have the information you require and it should be available under the new GIPA act which relates to the release of public information they can be contacted and an electronic form downloaded at.

http://www.parkes.nsw.gov.au/index.php?option=com_jentlacontent&view=landing&id=194&Itemid=743

Most Councils in country towns around Australia conduct Naturalization Ceremonies, now on Australia Day. However some Block ceremonies did take place in the 1950's because of the huge influx of intended Australians.

Try them they should know who was naturalised and when and it should give some idea of abode. I believe the Street they lived in was in a new Suburb created for the purpose of housing these migrants after naturalization.

Good Luck ;)
