Just to say that the 1825 Bond links Anne Evans, widow of Henry Evans of Pen y Coed to Thomas Jones of Tirllannerch, so I think we have the correct family  :)

 Found the will of Anne Evans senior (the widow of Henry Evans of Pen y Coed, Corwen).  She too had moved to Llangollen, but died a year too soon to appear in the 1841 census.  She seems to name most of the right people as legatees.  See http://hdl.handle.net/10107/752242

Marriage Llangwm 23rd July 1790 John Roberts, bachelor otp and Mary Jones spinster otp.  Witt John Roberts, Palfrey Rowland, Henry Evans

Bapt Llangwm Mary daughter of John and Jane Jones 4th September 1771.  This appears to be their only child baptised at Llangwm

Sarah Evans spinster otp married Thomas Jones bachelor otp 1 May 1823 by Licence at Llangollen

Sarah Jones died 12 Jan 1871 at Ivy House, Corwen and was buried at Carrog

Thomas Jones son of Thomas and Catherine Jones of Tir llanerch was baptised at Carrog 1st December 1796

Thomas Jones of Tir llanerch, Farmer died at Tir llanerch 15 July 1863

Thomas Jones of Tir llanerch was buried at Carrog 16th July 1863

John son of Thomas and Sarah Jones, Tir llanerch was baptised 21 Nov 1826 at Carrog

John Jones of Tir llanerch, Solicitor, died at Tir llanerch 14 December 1852 and was buried at Carrog

There is a box tomb by the porch of Carrog Church to these three

Thank you red dragon. These look promising. I will go back to my notes and have a good look in the morning. I am in New Zealand. The Jones' are not easy to trace and get the right family from here---but getting there with a lot of help from rootschat members.
