Not sure what we would get from it though? It does seem likely it's him but with no mention of where Mary has gone. Although on a search though ancestry a Mary Seddon was on 1851 census, matching with birth year, living with a sister in-law, Mary Hatton??? I couldn't make out the writing 'condition of marriage' M. Hatton was widow, M. Seddon was nothing similar! Still no death for her either.

So frustrating! I'm going to order the death cert for John 1808, because I'm just lost on him and where he came from  I'm thinking I have just got Mary because that's what the baptism record was, as I can find nothing else.

I have the 1841 with a Mary aged 70... living with John aged 60 that is in my records.  so I am presuming they are the ones I have as my lot.... now if she is 70 in 1841 means she was born 1770c  so that adds to the query... be back later.

The only mary siddon death I found is 1858... and cannot find her anywhere in the 1851..
So she had perhaps moved away from John  if this death is hers maybe she was in the workhouse or living with family elsewhere...

I just wanted to say thank you Mike, for all your help. Seems John I am loooking for is not the son of John Seddons and Mary Gunn 

However I have come across something interesting from someone else, she believes his father to be George, a lacemaker, and mother Sarah?

Plus, on digging on some stray grandchildren, I found a William Fewkes as witness on another marriage banns for his daughter Elizabeth. Got to figure out who he is, if its the same person.
