They were a short-lived unit. Formed 1 Feb 1941 at Meerut from a cadre of 14th/20th Kings Hussars plus volunteers. Served in India till disbanded 31 Oct 1943

50 TROOPERS WAS SENT FROM BOVINGTON TO BOMBAY IT TOOK 2 MONTHS
WE HAD TO GET A CAMP READY FOR 14/20
