HELP - MIDWIVES IN GERMANY

Can anyone help me.  My grandmother was a midwife between 1882 and 1912 in Feudenheim, Mannheim Germany.  I understand she was educated in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.  I assume in a medical school.  She had a practice there in the 1880's and then later in Feudenheim.  It was said that she worked for the rich Jewish Families although she was Catholic herself.  I seek to find the establishement of midwifes which would have record of her qualifying and practicing. Her name was AMALIE (Born) 1862 JOHANNA KOSSMAN (Married name Hofmann) Any help would be appreciate.
