Hi
There appears to be some confusion with names, it appears to stem from Rose's mother, Elizabeth Orange, nee Finnigan or Johnston. Also Thomas Orange may have been John T or John Thomas Orange, see further down.
The closest I can find with your info is...
FreeBMD:
Q2 1929 John T Orange & Elizabeth A Johnston, Alnwick, Mar. V 10b, P 950.
Q1 1907 John Thomas Orange, Alnwick, birth reg. V 10b, P 497.
Q2 1906 Elizabeth Johnston, Alnwick, birth reg. V 10b, P 498.
Q3 1908 Elizabeth Alice Johnston, Alnwick, birth reg. V 10b, P 517.
This may be where the problem lies...
Q1 1909 Thomas Finnigan & X X, Alnwick, mar. V 10b, P 612.
Family Search have a Thomae Finnigan & Alicae Johnson baptising a Thomas Finnigan, Alnwick, 09 Jan 1910. Would recommend checking this, however, maybe submitted.
If Elizabeth has a brother Thomas, this would help to validate the family. Also if the correct family, Elizabeth b. 1906 or 1908 would have been born out of wedlock, possibly the cause of the confusion I mentioned earlier. Children are often registered in their mother's name in those cases.
I looked a little further back on Thomas F, he possibly came from Ireland and may well be RC.
Perhaps worth hearing your views before going further back.
I haven't looked at the Moore's yet.
