Help with George SILVER & his wife C.SIMPSON

I have been unable to find either Johns birth or any record for his parents

I wonder if his birth was registered as Simpson but he was known as Silver - his fathers name

A basic search on the SP index shows one birth in Kincardine in 1879 for a John Simpson.  Might be worth a look as there is no 1881 entry to support that birth

I got my SP credits and confirmed your points on the 1881 and 1891 census.

I also looked at the  birth record  for John SIMPSON (Illegitimate) on his 1879
February Ninth at Gooseslie near Luthermuir, Marykirk. No mention of George SILVER
anywhere.

1901 Christina SIMPSON is at Bog of Kintrochat Single a Charwoman.

OPR Baptism record for Fetteresso shows her Father Peter SIMPSON, Farm Servant  at Monduff
was married to  1st Mary Yule

Born 17 November 1838 Agnes
he also had children by his second wife Mary MESTON (Viz)
Born 1 December 1845 Mary
Born 3 September 1847 Christina Barclay

Christina Barclay SIMPSON died 11 November 1916 U/r 9 Castle Street Brechin
 Informant was John SILVER, Son, 36 Mansfield Street, Partick, Glasgow
