I've just been looking and he was convicted at Sussex Assizes in 1802. Now how do I find the trial papers?

These documents are held at East Sussex Record Office

Ted, do you have a sample of William Buckley's signature?   Look what I found indexed at A2A

Cheers,  JM

Thanks Hugatree.

I am still extremely interested in this topic, but I will be away for a few days so if I don't answer it is because I can't get to a computer.

Cheers Ted
