Yes....good find, Wiggy about the Murphy sisters.

while looking for Frances i found this marriage

http://www.rootschat.com/links/0k6n/

-Remember the John Fancis Dunning you found in QLD.  I wonder if this is his daughter.     Late of Devonshire it says - how many Dunnings came out here from Devonshire I wonder . . .   John, born 1844,  was brother of Thomas - so not impossible.

Don't think these are part of your DUNNINGS.....

Laura Rosa DUNNING born WESTMINSTER married Joseph STRONG in 1867.
Ref  = 2086

Rosa Laura STRONG born LOND aged 42 died in 1878.
Father = John E DUNNING &  Mother = Jane Davis WYNHALL
Ref = 4440

Francis/Frances?
Could they be the same person? Death Index doesn't give gender.

Wiggy,

To 1888 there are marriages for 7 Dunnings where it states born Devonshire and two that say born England. There are others that give places or counties that don’t look like they are yours. And there’s a heap where birthplace isn’t stated.

I’ll list them for you tomorrow.

Beg you pardon Dee

Been back searching for where I got the female Frances from - the birth record looks like Frances but the ship manifest says Francis and so does the 1861 census - so I've been wrong all this time.  We'll go with Francis and take this as his death notice in the paper with a wife and couple of children - well well well - common law wife maybe as you can't find a marriage.

 - or was that because I sent you off on the wrong track with a female?    Sorry   :-[
