Thomas Tobit married Letitia (Letsey) Morgan 1839 Sidlesham, Sussex.   I just cannot trace the whereabouts of 3 of the daughters:

Eliza - born 1847
Letsey - born 1850
Ellen - born 1855

all born Sidlesham.    Anyone please help???

Have you found them in 1851 &/or 1861 census, for a start?

So Letitia remarried to Thomas Lawyer, and they and the Tobit children are in High Street, West Hampnett in 1861.  No sign of Eliza at this address though.  I did find an Eliza but she was with a Charles Tobit, rght age though.
How far have you got in tracing them please, so we don't go over old ground?  ;)

I am totally confused now.   I can find Eliza in 1851 but not after.   Letsey in 1851 and 1861.   Ellen 1861.

There is also a Letitia b1844 in the 1861 census but not in the 1851.

1851 shows Thomas to be a Fisherman but 1861 census shows Ag Lab

am pretty sure that I have the correct family but............................

Thomas died 1875 Selsey and Letitia (Letsey) 1867 Chichester (I think!)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh

We are all slightly confused!

Lets get back to basics!  Thomas Tobit /Letitia Morgan - have you got this marriage cert or seen the PArish register - i.e are we SURE about the marriage?

Then the 3 girls you mention in your first post, have you got their birth certs, or seen christennig records, i.e how are you sure they are children of this marriage?

Have you any sighting of them altogether as a family?
Have you evidence of any other children of the marriage?
