Hello again rarauk, I will try and clarify some details in your last message, I'm not sure about the names of my father's brother Robert's wives, I will check with my mother, she may be able to help. She does however think that Robert's first wife was a Welsh lady called Gwenn, this marriage produced a daughter. I will check on my father's rank number and let you have the correct number. Leslie's father was also called Robert, his middle name was William, he was a stoker and was fatally wounded in a bombing raid on Chatham dockyard during WW1, he died in Pembroke hospital. His body lies in Woodlands Cemetery in Gillingham, his service number was K/26116. I have a photograph of his gravestone that I tried to attach to this message, but the file is too big, I can send this to you by email if you wish to see it.

Kind regards,
Norm.
