Please date my schoolgirls

Late 1920s/early 1930s for me.I am going purely from my memories of Arthur Ransome books,where the girls usually had the bob haircut some of these are wearing.

I was thinking 20s, 30s or 40s but wanted it narrowing down

I'll go along with George...I see a few dropped waistlines so late 20s more likely 30s as that teacher doesn't look like much of a flapper, does she?

Oh yes...I see the clogs too...they were everlasting footwear...not that I ever had any but I knew a lad that did
