Are These Photos Of The Same Boy?

I know the middle and right hand photos are of the same young man, but is the child on the left a photo of him aswell?

Mmm...I'm not sure...the parting is different and I think it usually stays the same as they grow older.

I don't think it's possible to say from these if it's him,a brother or someone else.A better idea would be a date on when these were taken,sailor suits were popular from the 1890's up to post WW1 so we would need to see all of the pictures rather than a cropped version.

I think it's the same boy. Even though the age difference is about 8-9 years, the ears are very prominant and the cupid bow lips are also the same.

PS. The mouth is also slightly open in all three photos, sugests maybe a breathing condition, maybe sinusitis.

I agree with Loneybones the ears look the same nose seems to have filled out a bit in 2 an even more so in 3.

Another 'same' vote from me. I thought I'd put something up last night but maybe I wrote it on Notepad and went off and did something else and forgot to post  ::)

He has the same expression on each - probably produced by the slight open mouth that Leonie mentioned. The ears are very very similar and the gaps between the features (chin, mouth to nose, etc) are similar.  Also, his later photos have that feeling that his hair should have been parted on the opposite side  ;D

I am just wondering about the hair - curly vs very straight?  :-\

The young boys eyes also seem to slope down to the outer corners. The eyes in the older boys look more 'straight'.(awful description, sorry)

The middle picture the boy's top lip is slightly raised on the left (not quite as easy to see this in the third iciture), whereas the top lip of the small boy is slightly raised on the right. I am wondering if this picture is reversed, which may also explain the opposite hair parting.

I'm still not sure, but I think it could be the same boy.  :-\

Thanks for your comments. I thought it might be easier to compare the photos by sticking them together, but they are smaller than I expected, so it hasn't really worked!
I have tried posting the original photos but am having trouble at the moment, so I will try that later when I have more time!
