I've just found this baptism,

Parish: Whitnash

I wonder if this is just a different spelling of WEARING as I found these other baptisms in Whitnash with various spellings,

William WARMAN

Sara WARING
doter of Charle and Jemmia WARING was baptized August the 4 1799
Received October 20

Elezebeth WARING
daughter of Charles and Jimmia WARING was baptized January the 17 1802

Ann WHARAM
the daughter of Charles and Jimmia WHAROM  baptized Aprill 28 1805
Received May 12

Thomas
Son of Charles & Jemmimah WHARAM baptized January 21st 1809

Keziah
Janry 28 1816

Jane

I found this marriage very close to Whitnash,

Thanks Daisypetal, I've applied for a copy of Charles Lamb's B/C then I can hopefully tie down the family branch I'm after.
It's good to get this information as I'm sure that all these people must be related as they live so close together and, as I said previously, people in those days didn't travel too far afield to find a spouse!!

Exellent Topend ;D

I am so glad you did purchase the B/C as without it the wrong line would be followed.
It also looks like Jane Wearum c 1818 from Christenings Daisypetal provided was a Witness at her Sisters 1836 Wedding.

What a lot of spellings for the Surname in the Christenings!
And the info the Charles was a Tailor is great.

All in all a great outcome.

Trish :)

From 'Warwickshire, England, Burials, 1813-1910'

12 May 1849,  Whitnash
Charles WARING
Abode:  Tachbrook
Age:  81

In 1841 and 1851 James and Kezia CHERRY are living in Tachbrook so I wonder if Charles went to live with them before he died?
