I'm a bit confused here.
The Hannah Lamb nee Broadway was deceased by the 1841 Census.
So the John Lamb, her Husband, was born Warwickshire, not Northamptonshire.

Which Child of a John/Hannah are you descended from?
This is to make sure I am following the right Family.

The John with Children Maria/Charles is born c 1806, Pillerton, according to other Census info.

Hi Trish, thanks for the interest shown.
I have Hannah Lamb (nee Broadway) widow,  living with her son Charles in the 1881 census returns. John was buried 13 Nov 1856 aged 55. Their children being Maria, Charles and Emma born 1831, 1841 & 1845 respectively. Charles went on to marry Sarah Tarver who died in 1878. They had a son Walter, amongst others, who married Emma Heath. they were my grand parents on my mothers side.

I am not sure she was nee Broadway. Yes, I followed Charles and found them on all Census to 1891 where Hannah is still alive.

Do you have Charles Birth Cert to confirm his Mothers maiden name?

the John who married Hannah Wearing was widowed and living with his daughter Maria and son-in-law George Beech according to the 1881 census, still in Pillerton Percey.

No, I don't have a birth certificate for Charles I didn't know that they were obtainable for persons born in 1841??

Hi again Topend,
I think you really need Charles B/C to confirm his Mothers name.
Yes Births were registered from late 1837;

My reasons are;
MARIA Lamb was christened 16 Aug 1831 Wasperton.
And a John Lamb married Hannah Broadway, 12 May 1831, Wasperton.
(they just made it to the altar)
Brides usually Married in their own Parish.
Why would your John Lamb marry Wasperton ?? Maria is not his Child.

This to me means your Hannah was nee Wearing.
As they Married 1836 she may have even been Widowed and that is why we cant find a Christening for her.
Charles B/C will confirm any info.

Charles LAMB, Dec 1840, Stratford on Avon, 16 448

Stratford on Avon is the Reg District for the 1841 Census where Charles appears age 6mths.

I am in Australia and have gotten early B/M/D Certs from England as it is imperative to make sure we are following the correct line. Lots of people have Trees with info others just copy and no one backs it up with Certs.
