Father - Harry Firth b 1876
Mother - Sarah Eleanor Firth (nee Wilson) (known as Nelly) b 1881 Runcorn Cheshire England

Hi Tanja,

The manifest markings on that passenger list indicate that Harry was naturalized in the USA in 1932.

It would be helpful if you could find dates of birth for these folks or even narrow it down a bit.  The ages given on the passenger list are a bit off from what you have.

Thank you Sandra

I cannot see the full details but I can see a Margaret Eleanor Firth coming into UK at Liverpool between 1878 - 1960. Is there anyway you could check for me the dates of this and any other information.

Could it be possible that the daughter came back to England while the parents stayed on in the USA?

Thanks you
Tanja

Hi Shelly

Sarah Eleanor born 1881 Runcorn
Harry Firth b 1876
Their daughter Margaret born 1915

I have confirmed it is them on the ship as they listed Harry's sister in manchester as a point of contact

Hi Tanja,

It also says on the passenger list that Harry had been in the USA before from 1900 - 1922 ?
There is a Margaret Firth born 1918 returns to the UK in 1950 but she is a housewife.
Margaret Firth returning to UK in 1935 aged 13 years, travelling with Verdon Firth aged 49 and Annie Firth aged 50 so that doesn't look likely either.

The actual passenger list lists Margaret as less than a year old - it is hard to read, but looks like 6 months to me.

If they stayed in the US, a more specific date of birth might help us to find them.
